Electronic Record and Signature Disclosure

Version 2026-10-29

This disclosure applies when someone (the "Sender") uses Parapho to give you documents electronically and ask for your electronic signature. Please read it, and keep a copy by printing or saving this page. Before you sign, you'll be asked to confirm that you have read it and agree to use electronic records and signatures.

1. Scope of your consent

By agreeing, you consent to receive from the Sender, electronically and through Parapho, the documents, notices, disclosures and other records related to the transaction you are asked to sign (together, "records"), and to sign them electronically. Your consent applies only to that transaction, unless the Sender tells you otherwise.

2. Your electronic signature has legal effect

When you adopt a signature or initials and select Finish, you intend to sign, and your electronic signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten one under the US Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN), the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA) as adopted in your state, the UK Electronic Communications Act 2000, the EU eIDAS Regulation, and similar laws.

3. Getting paper copies

You may ask the Sender for a paper copy of any record at any time. The Sender may charge a reasonable fee, and will tell you the amount first. You can also download and print the completed document from your signing link or from the completion email.

4. Withdrawing your consent

You may withdraw your consent to use electronic records before you finish signing, by selecting Decline on the signing page or by contacting the Sender. Withdrawing doesn't affect the legal validity of anything you signed electronically before you withdrew. After you withdraw, the Sender may need to complete the transaction by other means, which may be slower.

5. Keeping your contact details up to date

Records are sent to the email address the Sender has for you. To change it, contact the Sender directly. Parapho cannot change it for you.

6. Hardware and software you need

If these requirements change in a way that could stop you from accessing or keeping records, we'll tell you and ask for your consent again.

7. Confirming you can access records

By agreeing, you confirm that: (a) you can open and read this disclosure; (b) you can print it or save it for your records; (c) the email address the signing link was sent to is yours and is one you can use; and (d) you are not aware of any reason you cannot receive records electronically.

8. How we record your actions

To create reliable evidence of the transaction, Parapho records the time you open the document, the time you agree to this disclosure, each signature you adopt, the time you finish or decline, and your IP address and browser details. These records appear in the certificate of completion attached to the final document, which every party receives. See the Privacy Policy.

9. Contact

For questions about the document itself, contact the Sender. For questions about Parapho, contact [Legal entity name] at [privacy@yourdomain].
